What is ECO QUEST??
This course is designed to challenge the die hard adventure racers. It is a marked course consisting of a four mile trail run, one mile canoe and six mile mountain bike. This race can be done as a solo or a two person team.
Each person is requested to raise a minimum of $100 per person to participate. Prizes are given to top three participants who raise the most money and the top three from each race category who cross the finish line first. Everyone who attempts the challenge is a winner and will receive an event t-shirt.

YES! The ECO Mini Challenge
This course is designed for those who desire adventure without.
The course consists of a one mile run/walk through the woods, an obstacle course and a one mile bike on pavement or paths. If you do not have a bike, dont worry you can walk/run the last mile.
This is fun for the whole family.
Each person must raise a minimum of $30 per person to participate. Prizes are given to top three participants who raise the most money and the top three who cross the finish line first. Everyone who attempts the mini challenge is a winner and will receive an event t-shirt.
What are the event details?
Date: March 15, 2008
Place: Alafia River State Park
Time: 8:00 am to noon
Event : Comprised of two adventure races: one for the dire hard adventure racer and one for the weekend warrior (descriptions above)
Fundraiser: To enter into the race, participants are requested to obtain sponsors and donations to cover their minimum entrance fee. They are encouraged to raise more. There are prizes for the top three money raisers. Last year our top fundraiser raised over $1600.00!!
Charity: ECHO, the Emergency Care Help Organization, provides food and clothing to residents of Eastern Hillsborough County that have experienced a recent emergency. Established in 1987, ECHO has served over 90,000 individuals.
Target Audience: Expected participants 150. Expected audience size 150 making a total of 300.
After event party and prize ceremony: Food, music and fun to follow after the event.

How much money must be raised in order to participate in the event?
